Gah! Stupid Comcast people...

For some reason they seem to think it's totally appropriate for their modem/gateway to leave ports 80 and 21 WFO. I have them blocked on my end but 1) I shouldn't have to go to that effort and 2) If you're an ISP, shouldn't you have someone knowledgeable in networking available somewhere?

I still just can't adjust the schedule - still go to bed at 3am and say hi to the sun at 11am how bad I am!

no, I can fix this. sure I can fix this. there's nothing healthy in reading at 3am. arggg. but I love reading at that time!
