that's very true. We can look at what other do and get an hint. It might even work.
You seem a highly organized individual. Make sure that your well planned routines will hold (or their equivalent) with a little ProfCrash kicking in your bed at 3 like little daughter did to me last night. ![]() |

Wow! This is refreshing! I've started on the sample of Yunnan Imperial black and the difference between it and that sample pu-erh is night and day!
Where the pu-erh was wishy-washy, the Yunnan Imperial is bold. Where the pu-erh had a dirt smell, the Yunnan is clean and fresh. I had to search for the flavor of the pu-erh, and I'm almost tempted to run FROM the flavor of the Yunann Imperial. Almost... not not! The flavor is deep and full, mellow with no trace of the tannins that so often accompany a bold black. This is good stuff... Chalk one up for NBT! It's interesting to see the way different methods of handling can affect the taste of tea grown in the same region. The pu-erhs are all Yunann teas but treated differently from a regular black tea. The 'China Black' from McNultey's is also a Yunann tea, and the flavor of this Yunann Imperial is very similar to it, but there are enough differences to be able to enjoy both! Stitchawl |

in my mug: peach flavored tea with MILK. (well, I know you guys would say artificial flavor isn't good for health, I still have to use up the tea box!)
that's perfectly right! at night, when no-one can possibly disturb you, there's not a single sound, it's cold and you're under the thick warm blanket... But hey! Despite that fact, I'm not doing it tonight ![]() |

Shu Pu-Erh - cooked, black. Sheng Pu-Erh - raw, uncooked, green. From my limited experience, green pu-erh doesn't have earthy flavour. It is very different. I know now, that I prefer cooked Pu-Erh with the dust flavour ![]() When I bought my first Pu-Erh and tried it in tea room in Bath, they told me that the older coocked pu-erh the smoother its taste. Less earthy flavour. The younger, the stronger is the flavour. Some people prefer older because they don't like this flavour. There is no proof that the older cooked Pu-Erh has more health benefits than the younger. As somebody said it is arguable. There is one important difference between cooked/black and raw/green. Green is energizer, just like black tea. The cooked version is very low on caffeine. I gave up on green. All my future experiments will be with cooked only. I believe it is the healthiest approach. As long as you eat bad things in moderation, doing sport overrides the negatives and makes you stronger. Any diet without a sport only postpones what is inevitable. Stitchawl Gym, or active life, are all the same for your body. As long as you do it, you are healthy. As long as you are not coach potato ![]() ![]() (all of that IMO, of somebody who is not a doctor, is a typical cocooner, but has an opinion ![]() Quote:
![]() I am surprised you don't have the names on sample labels. Maybe there was a glitch or something. I always have both, the name and the number on my labels. Quote:

Stitchawl: My preference is to be out hiking and riding bikes and playing soccer. Unfortunately a 9-6 job limits the amount of hiking I can do. Once the warmer weather comes I will resume biking to the grocery store and back. I don't think I will ever return to playing soccer.
I am 39 and my knees sound like a 60 years olds. My left hip didn't fully develop when I was in utero so they had to force the joint into the socket when I was a baby. This threw off the alignment of my entire left side. I played sports my entire life but it has left me now with really bad knees, a bad hip, and ankles that are starting to show problems. As much as I love soccer, I don't love it enough to push up knee replacement surgery by 10-15 years. I am looking forward to better weather so I can start playing tennis. If I can get out and get exercise outside the gym I will. But when I can't I use the gym. beppe: My ADHD makes me have to be organized. If I am not all hell breaks loose. When i am not, I have my Husband to help me remember to do what I need to do. I refuse to go back on medication, I don't like how I feel on Ritalin. bleeeech. If I am not organized in my exercise routine I will end up back at 200 pounds and that is just not healthy. |

![]() Lunch time, as a result Yorkshire Gold dust ![]() P.S. Stitchawl, in one of your posts you have mentioned you like Marks & Spencer black tea. TBH I never thought to check what they have ![]() Today I looked at their selection and they had a couple of back loose teas in stock. 1 2 and two more (M&S Breakfast one of them I think). Do you know anything about them? |

heheheh
We are renting a cabins with friends this spring and summer. We should be able to get in some nice hiking in the spring and plenty of time on the river in the summer. Hopefully we will get in a two or three camping trips this year. ou know your knees are bad when you go to physical therapy for the achilles and while doing the exercises all of the physical therapists stop, look at you, and ask if you shouldn't be there for your knees. Then all of the trainers at the gym freak out when they feel how your knees move. I know I will have my knees replaced, I want to do it later rather then sooner. So classes and exercises are needed to protect the knee while strengthening everything around it. The good news is I enjoy said work and I rarely have knee pain. And right now I am having a pot of Rooibos Vanilla. |
