Well, when you say Budweiser, you've said too much. (This might be an obscure cultural reference for the younger crowd.)

But of course I'm including Maxwell House and Folgers - and Eight O'Clock and Chock-Full-o-Nuts. All perfectly good American style coffees. Been around as long as I can remember, which means since the 50s, and longer. Not "tasteless" when properly prepared. Usually based on the Columbian bean. There is very little more satisfying than a cup of this kind of coffee after a nice, carb-rich American style meal.

You probably don't understand martinis, either. (Hint - they don't involve vodka.)

Oh...try Honest Tea. In the bottle.

Some drink $7 to $8 dollar coffee while reading a book on their Macs.

I am with the group that spends 50 cents for equally good coffee at McDonalds and read my books on my HP mini.

Life is good!

I spend $1.50 drinking tasty coffee at Starbucks while using my company issued laptop or my steal of a deal $60 Android tablet from Kohls. Life is great!

Hmmm. What else would coffee be made with? Milk? Brandy? Well, sometimes I add brandy, but it has not previously occurred to me to substitute it for water...

Light to medium roast, Columbian bean. No dark roast. Maybe some other beans - in fact, probably a mixed bag of beans, depending on what's available.

Not to be confused with that vile concoction, the "Americano."

Yes, but it will be just in time for summer - iced coffee, anyone?

That is SO politically correct! Reach into that dark space in your soul and tell us what you find!

Whoops, I agree absolutely... people are too quick to assign (usually derogatory) group labels...
