Okay!! I don't get as much as I would like, but that sounds like fun.
If your mother doen't want it, wrap it up and send it 'thisaway'.

I treated myself to two DVD's; The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and The Girl
who played with Fire. My neighbour and I loved them both.

Cheers
it's a cutesy little tie-in with Valentines Day. instead of sending a telegram, you send a pajama-gram. if she sends it back, it will go back to the company not me. you wouldn't like it... it's warm flannels for the Nebraska winters she is now living in, as opposed to the mountains of New Mexico

No, it's short for "Radio Control", which is terse for "Radio controlled model aircraft"

I just finished Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. After all the books for adults with lengthy passages, love scenes and hard-to-understand notions - such as Loneliness on the Net by Janusz Leon Wiśniewski, I really enjoyed this fantasy children's novel.

Ohwwww I want to watch Tangled over and over again! I'm considering getting a DVD of it.

That's a very nice thing to do.

Just send my soon to be ex webhost an email telling them that when my contract ends next month I'm moving my website to another host and asking if I need a token or authorization code.

I hate sending those emails but €75 or €25 a year is a big difference, plus whenever there was a problem they blamed my wordpress installation until now my contract is nearly up and they're as helpful as they can (the problems I was having over the past years was on their end they discovered). Just in case they are going to do something I don't want them to do I made various back ups of my website.

Bingo. Those handheld scanners Autozone uses to find the trouble codes for your Check Engine light? You can do all that on an Android phone with Bluetooth.

http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics...one/e661/#tabs

This is the one I got; word on the forums is that it works the best and is most compatible with the most Android phones. There are cheaper ones like this:

http://www.dealextreme.com/p/elm327-...r-dongle-16921

but there have been reports of them failing, not being true ELM327 protocol, etc. There are others as well but once I got out my plastic the PLX piece made the most sense. The devs at Torque say it's most compatible and that's the app I'm using (well one of them anyway). Then you get the soft out of the Market; alOBD Scanner, OBDroid, and Torque are the ones I remember off the top of my head, there are others. There's even an OBDII terminal app where you can send commands to the car's computer, but you have to know specific codes for specific manufacturers.

The whole thing is OBDII so only cars from '96 and up. I get the Bluetooth dongle today so I'll let you know what's up.

Heheheheh...you say that now...

Actually I didn't know such a thing existed and I certainly didn't expect to see the hardware end of it at ThinkGeek. I already had an Actron scanner since I don't plan on owning anything older than '96 at this point (it works on both my truck and Shel's car). If you don't know a whole lot about cars (or even if you do), this thing can save you a bunch of money if your car starts making indescribable noises.

Also, I saw the gauges on Torque and it's just awesome.

Hey there GeoffC, KennyC and SneakySnake,

Yasi wasn't too much trouble, we did get a fair blow for this region but it wasn't anything catastrophic like the poor Tully region. That said, I'm pleased it didn't crash directly through Townsville, an event like that would decimate the region for years.

Mostly I've just been busy working on my other business, helping Elita do the post-processing on her next book (Guardian) and trying to get some semblance of a normal life though management of my anxiety disorder.

Paul.
