Impeding Justice is still on offer for only $0.99/£0.86, it's receiving great reviews and the sequel is due out in a few weeks too.

Over 1100 sold on Amazon UK in less than three months. We're even planning a UK tour for Boomerang and the next Ted and Jerry adventure (in the works) next summer.

Come see what the Brits have already discovered. Boomerang is "very entertaining and inventive story full of fascinating characters and amusing situations. Thoroughly enjoyable with a lot of "tongue in cheek" humour. Recommended."

My new cozy mystery, Three Sisters has just gone live in the kindle store at Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.

It's a long short story (17,000 words or about 70 print pages) and it's the first in a series featuring amateur sleuth Emily Castles. It's set in London on bonfire night.

It's only 99 cents/71p.

Thanks for checking it out.

Pleased to terrorize you!

In Book 1: In The Chair, you met a pair of dentists and the monsters they serviced

In Book 2: Too Young To Die, you met a lawyer destined for a fateful rendezvous, a father forced to make a terrible decision when his drug-addicted son comes knocking, and a man who goes to brutal lengths to avenge a horrible murder.

(If you haven’t picked up either of these books yet, please do so. Book 1 has been recently re-edited for your pleasure.)

Now, in Book 3: Death Bleeds Into Life, meet a young woman forced to face a horrible truth in her Gross Anatomy Lab ("Just Meat", 6,600 words), a religious leader forced to pay for his crimes in the Utah desert ("A Matter of Faith, A Matter of Balance", 9,300 words), a boy dying of a brain tumor as he looks for one last thrill in the Nevada desert ("The Madame Penitent", 10,500 words), and a college student looking to unravel the mysteries of the room next door where a girl was rape and murdered two years earlier ("The Transfer", 19,500 words)

These are four stories that are sure to keep you thinking long after you've stopped reading.

If you are tired of gore for gore’s sake, slasher/serial murder stories, zombie stories and vampire romances, welcome… if you are looking for good, old-fashioned Stephen King/Dean Koontz/Clive Barker–esque psychological horror featuring ghosts, monsters and madmen, then take a peek.

Four stories. Over 45,000 words (about 112 print words). For only $.99. What have you got to lose? Besides sleep. And a third of a tank of gas. What's that? About eight miles? It’s worth it. And if you haven’t read the first two books yet, either, they are only $.99 as well.

If you are interested in a free taste of what I have to offer, click the link below to my Smashwords account and pick up Pandora’s Children: Dark Interludes, which showcases 7 free stories and over 20,000 words of terror. And Santa Claus. Yes, he makes an appearance. Enjoy!

Talking Tinna's Promise (Trilogy of Tinna)

Here I am, shamelessly promoting my 2007 novel Tinna's Promise. Only $4.00 on smashwords, Amazon & Barnes and Noble Nook books...

As the fate usually has it for most of us; when we finally find our place in this world, it's only a matter of time when everything is turned upside down. For Tinna, after years of searching, she has finally found the life she wants. Unfortunately, the act of making an innocent promise catapults her onto a journey across the land, where she becomes the vessel for the darkest secret ever to come to light.

This book consistently reviews positively, and I will be releasing book 2, Tinna's Might this year (hopefully by March if my editor gets crackin')

Download your copy today! You can also get it in print through pretty much all major online booksellers.

If you like strong female characters, a bit of grit, a smidge of the inappropriate and exploring new, unusual worlds, this book is for you.

I'm waiting for my new short story 'Phantoms of the Quantum Rift' to 'go live' at Amazon.

A global network of quantum generators is activated but instead of providing universal power, black tentacles of quantum fog drag individuals through a rift in space time. Then the phantoms appear. Are they the dead returning or the living trapped in the wrong dimension? Dave joins the official programme that tries to put everything back as it was but he has troubles of his own: his wife is missing.

Meanwhile, it can be obtained free here, using smashwords code XXXXX, but only until it pops up on Amazon Kindle ebooks for 99 cents / 71 pence. 'Phantoms of the Quantum Rift' weighs in at 12,000 words.

EDIT: sorry folks, I've had to cancel that coupon already, as Amazon have been unexpectedly super-fast today and got the book up and running in less than twelve hours! Well done to the two readers who snuk in there and grabbed one while they could.
UK Phantoms of the Quantum Rift
US Phantoms of the Quantum Rift

The First Completely Electronic Robot and Science Fiction Limerick Book is still free at Amazon UK and there are another two short stories available for free download at smashwords:
'Ms Fixit' - featuring Bernice, a mischievous IT technician
'Phades ~ Lost Souls' - the shorter (1600 words), happy version of 'Phantoms of the Quantum Rift'

New novel: "Stalk"

I've penned a new novel, "Stalk" (my first one, actually). The main characters, a bounty hunting trio, consists of a rugged guy - Lee Bodkin, an ex-Olympic style wrestler and street tough - his Wolf-Borzoi tracking dog, Sheba, and biathlete/sniper Gladdis Montrose. She's the precision to her partner's crudeness, the strategy to his forcefulness. When it comes time to drop the hammer on a villain, she's all ice and perfection, he's brutality and perfection.

Don't confuse this group with Dog the Bounty Hunter or other urban operators; Bodkin, Montrose, and Sheba plow into the swamps and the wilderness to track down their targets.

Back Cover: "Lee Bodkin crafts and sells historic archery weapons: beautiful, deadly marvels of glistening woodwork. Business is booming, but his is not the only thriving enterprise on the outskirts of the bustling city. Contaminating the community is one very crafty, ruthless drug dealer, plying his trade to make the area a meth-addicted wasteland. He hates competition, and he hates Bodkin.

Unknown to the menace, Bodkin is not just a small business owner. He's a former world-class wrestler and current search-and-rescue specialist...one the government unofficially hires as a seek-and-destroy tool. Bodkin long ago stacked the odds in his favor, partnering with biathlete and wilderness survival expert - and deadeye sniper - Gladdis Montrose. Add to the mix his loyal and ferocious dog Sheba, the trio makes a nearly unstoppable team.

But the team will soon be put to the test. Because in the surrounding countryside, both pets and people have been disappearing. And to Bodkin it soon becomes crystal clear: a new presence has arrived. Something big...and hungry."

In Kindle format, $2.99.

Thanks! - P.J. Hafner
