Yes. I was taking a statin to get it to 170 or so. Now I take half of one a day and my cholesterol is regularly 117. I continue to take it only because I haven't been to the doctor to get her advice. My blood pressure was 140+ over something untreated and is now routinely 115 to 120 over something. Embrace lentils!

normally I am so tied up with ski season that the only impact that the super bowl has on me is covering for other instructors that don't show up (unless the Broncos are playing) this year I was surprised at the amount of people at the puppy park during the game. and it was COLD!

I saw Vivaldirules' avatar with these beautiful birches, that reminded me of the ones I saw some 8 years ago at an exhibition of Russian landscape painters, Levitan, Sjisjkin...don't remember more names.

Lovely! Thanks for posting their names. I've been pondering trees and drawings and paintings of them lately. And trying to get motivated to draw some myself. Actually, I find that just looking at trees is awfully satisfying.
