While I was out running errands today, it sleeted for a while -- hard! That was NOT in the forecast for today.

Just cold rain now, though.

actually I have very few memories of the first week, I was that sick. I know that I was on a quarantine ward, there was an outbreak of maybe mumps (?) at the time. the next week when I recaptured my brain I was moved into a different ward, and some humbled Drill Sergeants came to visit

Not a lot happening, here, cloudy and grey, cold Plus 3. Last night's wind seems to have upset our oil heater and it didn't switch on this morning, so it's cold indoors - too.

All that nasty snow in the US I saw on the TV tonight! Difficult to imagine in a Queensland summer. Earlier tonight I (after a few drinks) lay floating in the pool and looked up at Orion imagining the cold others were feeling on the other side of the world.

I guess you are in the plusses (just) Geoff hopefully °C. we are getting 30+°C i would love to send you a few degrees to ease off both of us.

It's in the 30's F, dark, raining & sleeting.
