I believe Kobo can repair it- and it is cheaper than a whole new unit.
Contact them and ask for an RMA kit to send it back, they'll charge you for the screen replacement. Last I heard, that'd be around $70, but I'd confirm that estimate with them on the phone. That's about half of what a whole new WiFi Kobo would cost you.

Bummer. Well, still cheaper than a new one- but for that much difference I'd probably hold out and just buy a new one, keep the old one for parts.
