That's good to know.

My proviso, of course, is that my stupidity sometimes knows the explicit, public parameters of "safety", but ignores its own internal safety parameters and inadvertent aptitude for self-harm.

That is to say, I am careful of the surf, but that doesn't preclude me walking in front of a Vespa on the way home.

Cheers,
Marc

I hope you brakes are good on your treadlie then! Three times I had to lay out the anchors yesterday because people weren't looking where they were going! (Bikes coming the other way)

I love my new treadlie with disc brakes!

Yes, I'm pretty cautious, if not always slow enough for The Loved One's liking (except on uphills). I make sure to only put myself in harm's way.

"Treadlie" = "deadly-treadlie" = pushbike. Both SneakySnakey and myself have recently bought new bikes, and we are terrorising our local bike tracks - me in the north, she in the south.

But not today (for me). Small leg injury, coupled with sun, heat and humidity kept both me and The Loved One off the treadlies today. Just a rest day, really. Sneaky's suggestion that the weather here is more suitable for pool-time is quite appropriate.

Cheers,
Marc

I rode over to the blood suckers then to the shops for milk and eggs. Now going in the bedroom (only room with aircon) for a lie down and watch food safari.

@nohmi2 treadlie as per marc's explanation. Are you in an obscure part of Oz? Or am I getting a little old?

They seem to be, they're posting on Facebook. Paul is griping about some idiot in a commodore that's revving his engine on their street.

Not sure who you were asking, but here in Northern Illinois, we'll get some high water in the Rock River when it all melts. Someone asked me today what they'll do with the six foot high stack of snow in the middle of our main street through town (they piled the snow they plowed on the median). They can't dump it in the river because of the salt they use on the roads, so I have no idea what they'll do with it.
At the rate it looks now, this might not all be gone until the end of May.

I'm so glad no one in NQ were dead or injured... The size of the cyclone was unbelievable, looking at pics from the size of the cyclone over areas of the US, Europe and Asia..

No Lovey you're not getting old. I remember Methusela when he was a pup!

We just call them 'push bikes' in Robina. We're funny that way.

Keep well.
