Since it's getting harder and harder to buy any laptop with a normal 4:3 screen ratio I ended up buying a used one. I'm hoping it will last me 2-3 years. At the moment I refuse to buy a laptop with a widescreen. I already count the battle as lost since I know of no manufacturers who produce new laptops with the 4:3 ratio.

Me, too! And I really wasn't interested in the iPad before seeing this. With a keyboard, though, it would be much easier to lug around to the library for research than my laptop. If only it were a smidge cheaper... I still can't justify getting one at the price it's selling for now.

I lost the 'bulb' of my traguspiercing on the train. I don't know if that what it's called, it's the little thingy on top of the piercing. It just fell off. They gave me a replacement bulb when I bought this jewel, in case anything like this would ever happen.

I put the replacement on top of my microwave, but one day I thought: that's not safe, I'd better put it somewhere I can't lose it. But now I need it and ... I CAN'T FIND IT !

Well, I'll guess I'll have to turn all my drawers upside down. Again.

And that's the reason you should always tape things you don't want to lose to the bottom of drawers.

Is is a new piercing? I'm sure you can pick up a new one at your local piercing shop, I've seen them at mall jewelery stands / shops as well. Try not to sleep on that side tonight, or just tape the hoop shut if you are scared that it will slip off while you are sleeping. I've had my tragus pierced for 10 years or so, and I've never changed the hoop.. maybe it's about time, eh!

I find the virtual keyboard to be easy to use and as accurate as typing on a physical keyboard, but not everyone shares this opinion. I bought a keyboard/docking station at the same time I purchased the iPad, but find myself using it less and less. My only real complaint about the virtual keyboard is that it has no directional arrows for navigation. Hitting special keys to bring up numbers and special characters may also be a bit of a drag on your style of typing, but overall, I don't find it too bad, although it does cut down on my typing speed a bit.

Apple also makes a wireless keyboard that works with the iPad, but neither the docking keyboard nor the wireless one fold into a convenient case like the one in that video.

Then there's the lack of separate folders on the iPad for storing documents. It's a great tool for creating and editing documents away from home, IMO, but it does have some drawbacks.

It's relatively new, a year old I think. I have a barbell, and because I lost the top it's very easy to lose the rest of the piercing as well. I think I'll try to stick something on the inside of my ear so I won't lose it. Maybe the sticky piece of a bandaid

I'm planning a trip to my piercer tomorrow, but I'll have to leave work early to get there before closing time.

A tragus piercing IS an ear piercing

It's a lot worse in my opinion. Probably because the tragus is cartilage. It also takes a pretty long time to heal. I couldn't sleep on my pierced ear for a couple of months.
