Well, it won't generate a catalog at all now for me. Been sitting here for about 5 minutes and nothing.

Using Aldiko setting to create the library.

Just sits at "generating authors catalog"

We are going to post some suggestions for log settings that can be used with 2.4 beta 2 that can produce a log to help us track down the cause of such problems. When we do that please take the trouble to run the 2.4 beta 2 release again with the suggested log settings as if we do not find and fix the cause the problem will not go away.

I uploaded a new 2.4 beta 3 version, which corrects the null pointer problem, and include the needed tidy.jar file.
It also includes several logging configuration files, which Dave will explain later here or there (I'm late for my swimming pool session)...
