Here's the link for the tea, for those interested: Teavana website - Black Dragon pearl
I would not advise to resteep black tea. I remember that rule from long time ago. Don't ask me where I read it, it is just something that has always been with me but here is a link to what I saw yesterday:

EasyPeasy. They got to pack it in the UK. Send it who knows where. Then somehow get it back and re-sell it over here. Although, I don't think that is how it works.
They sell it here as souvenirs to tourists, that explains the tourist price.

Off to the kitchen to make a cup of something not so black...or should I say red?
It probably will be the last cup of Nepal Antu Valley green tea sample.

My new year resolution was to drop coffee as a beverage so have turned into a big fan of dandelion root tea. At first the taste is different but it grows on you and the health benefits are worth it!

I resteep black teas all the time. It depends on if you like the taste of the second steep.

It makes life much simpler.

When I wanted to buy my reader, Amazon wouldn't ship a Sony to Japan. They deal with Sony-USA and that company can't interfere with sales for Sony-Japan. But Sony_Japan doesn't make a reader. I had to buy the reader from B&H Video, who deal with Sony-Canada, and they were allowed to send it to me. International business can be a real bother!

BTW... no law prohibiting sending tea to Japan. There are some prohibitions about sending fresh food, but not for dried, canned, frozen, etc.

Stitchawl
Of course you'd have a system worked out, having been there so long.

I do this too - put on fast paced music to inspire me to clean. It usually works.

Green Pu-Erh Toucha.

Not bad, but nothing remarkable.
Much better than green Pu-Erh from TeaHouseEmporium. No smokiness that was out of place. Smoother than usual Pu-Erh, but that's what I don't appreciate because I like unEarthy flavour of Pu-Erh.
Omg. Did I say unErthy? I mean Earthy! Like dirt or dust?

Soon, resteep No. 1

Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.

Everything they say about Monday mornings is true.

Oh well... new week. Lightly snowing outside. At least it's not inside. I drink some Royal Breakfast tea and figure out how to deal with the rest of the day. Got chores to do... want to play some music... want to finish the latest Sandford novel... shop for dinner... What's for dinner?

Maybe I'll just go back to bed.

I'm now convinced...
A couple of cups of black tea, a long hot shower, and even the bleakest of mornings can look better. The streets are dry enough to ride, so I'm going out for a putt...

Tried the English Breakfast tea from my TG black tea sampler - very "Lipton-ish" - not a real stand-out - but quite drinkable. Very rich & smooth, with no bite.
