Shortcut to eject nook and SD card?
I have a rooted color nook, but I doubt that matters to my question.
I find it a little tedious to eject the nook and the card and thought if their was a .bat file (or similar) to do this it'd be much easier. Anyone know a shortcut or how to write the .bat file? Thanks. |

I do not own Nook, but with my Sony I use Calibre for ejecting. It has one menu point for ejection under Device menu. Maybe it also works with Nook?

Solved in myself.
Found a tiny program (56K) called Freeeject at freeeject.com and put it in my C: drive made a bat file with: C:/freeeject M: C:/freeeject J: exit and put a shortcut to it on my desktop with a keyboard shortcut. J & M are the letters that were assigned to my Nook and SD card by Windows. This instantly (and I assume safely) ejects them. I assume that the program is totally harmless. I'm also assuming that it's better to eject the drives first, though perhaps this isn't necessary in which case all of the above is unnecessary. |
