You cant reduce it. If you are bothered by having too much then give everyone else more. As they catch up the problem will become less and less of a problem. This is probably the only solution.

KK is right -- please do NOT worry about it. It just means that some of the members here whose karma-giving packs a big wallop have enjoyed your upbeat and enthusiastic participation in the lounge. I've noticed they have, probably quite randomly, chosen you as their poster child in the thread on how to change the karma system, but I don't think it's anything personal. Carry on!

I'd rather be eating a stack of pancakes at the Big Horn restaurant in Estes Park with my family before we head off on a day hike in the mountains on vacation. Instead, I'm spending another day off at home working.

K is also for fun, appreciation, good luck, or a virtual back rubbie, a kiss perhaps, something nice........it doesn't define someone's worth, but it's an emotion from the giver, and not more than that.
This being said; I sometimes gives Karma to someone ' deserving'

who doesn't have a lot. When I see this, I think... ahhh......and give Karma.....also, yes, an emotion.
