Amazon format translation

Yesterday I tried for the firts time Amazon format translation service. Just great, very fast and accurate. I had a few public domain books I downloaded from an Italian Online library. All of the were in rtf format. I tried to convert to a Kindle supported formay using Calibre but I experienced some problem, the major beeing the loosing of the hypertextual functionality of the summary.
The Amazon conversion is fine. The only problema is that your email address becomes the author of the book ( I fixed it using Calibre metadata managing functions).
Very fast too, I uploaded a 22MB book and I had it back translatrd in less than 5 minutes.

The Kindle format conversion service is essentially just an "on-line" version of MobiPocket Creator. You may find it easier to install Mobi Creator and do the conversions with that.

I used The MobiPocketCreator, the output of the Creator is not the same as that provided by the Amazon service. Also the output of Calibre conversion is different than Amazon service.
