New Rooter and have a ?

Hello all! I have recently rooted my Nook color and I have a question..if I have downloaded a app from the market and don't want it any mroe what do I need to do to get rid of it? Also I keep having the soft keys force to be closed anyone else have that problem? Sorry about all the questions!

Just go to the market app and click on the the "Downloads" link at the top. You should see the list of apps you have installed via market. Click on the one you want to delete by "Uninstall". Simple

If you wish, you can replace SoftKeys with Button Savior (Market). To uninstall SoftKeys you can use a file manager such as Astro. Within the menu of Astro choose "Tools", "Application Manager". Find SoftKeys and long press and select uninstall.

After you install Button Savior all you need to do is open the app once.

Scion- if when I open the prefs in Astro and dont see anything under App Manager..what do you think I did wrong...dont be to harsh..lol

Are you saying that under "Installed Apps" it has nothing there?

Well when I open Astro I dont see a tools..I see a Prefs..so maybe I am lost..sorry!

No, don't apologize. I looked within the app again so I could understand what you see.

Yes, Prefs is at the top of the screen. We don't want that. At the bottom of the screen is a soft menu button for the app. It's a circle with 3 horizontal lines. Tap on that and follow the instructions in the previous post.

You would think with me having a driod I would have remembered that little menu. Thanks for you help soooo much. Im rolling along now.
