You need to click on the GO ADVANCED button when you make a post and you can see all the smileys to use - and if that is not enough you just click on [More] underneath the little critters!

so you can also get and and (if you really want to )

BTW Welcome to MR man. I think I'm actually Irish born in the wrong country.

Have a number of artistic friends there and GeoffC of course across the short stretch of water....

Enjoy!

They usually turns out very good and are healthy since very little oil is needed.

I have however noticed that the result varies with different potato sorts. Potatoes which are heavy on starch can be a problem, but the recipe book explains which potato sorts that works best

More for us...

The first time I tried kettle corn (which is what this is), I honestly didn't know what to make of it. It was done the "right" way, in a big black kettle, at a county fair in the Midwest no less (Norman Rockwell's spirit was probably hanging out near the merry-go-round someplace). Anyway, shortly after that I started seeing it in stores everywhere and it became a craze of sorts, like Amish furniture was to Baby Boomers in the '90s, "discovered" by people with money.

I don't know about KK's definition of "natural"; the processing involved in the 100% genuinely-manufactured butter-scented chemical used in the microwave stuff doesn't strike me as any better (or better for you) than the real thing.

I am wondering if the Kookaburra rescued yesterday will want to go out in the rain! It has been hammering down with lots of lightning since before dawn and it is now nearly 7am. Kookaburras get up early, but this one still looks sleepy. I hope he is not hurt. It flew into our shed in a wind gust and stunned itself before dark last night.
