Correct, you should only purchase Kindle books if you intend to read them with the Kindle App

Which is available here: http://www.freewarelovers.com/android/app/kindle (thanks to fjtorres for the link) and works quite well on the IQ.

Doe anyone use a launcher program that works on Pocketbook IQ? Something like Launcher Pro or ADW Pro? Thanks.

I've found OpenHome2 to suit my needs.

I am trying out zeam launcher and it's working quite well right now. I like the ability to add more apps to the dock.

MmavisO- Are you using the most recent update of Launcher Pro (v0.8.2)?

Another quick question. Anyone figure out how to remove that white update page when you turn on device? I downloaded startup manager hoping I would be able to turn it off but didn't work. Thanks.

This was posted after you asked the question, so you may have already seen it, but just today: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=115796

Thanks. Installed most recent updated LauncherPro. It works great and really makes device look better. Kind of hurting with widgets though and I haven't found any that work on IQ.

I saw that post too (wow!!) and no thanks. All that work to get rid of one screen. I think I will just deal with the annoying white screen.

If you like one of the screenshots that Coredump-EE created in the post, you can always download those and flash away.

Cheers

What about all the code and programming stuff in the post? Are you telling me I can just download his screenshot to my card, put it in device and run it and it will work? I don't mind using one of those screenshots- anything is better than that white screen

Yep, that's all there is to it. Coredump-EE already packaged everything into those screenshot. I'm now using the android symbol in the black background.

Cheers
