That's odd. I thought he got picked up by Amazon encore and it would be odd of them not to release world-wide...maybe they are having a delayed release...I think I've seen Boyd around on kindleboards. If I see him, I'll ask him what's up with that.

The only book I can get hold of on Kindle from this author is The Noah's Ark Quest.

I'm still reading the Little Women Trilogy. It's slow going so far. I'm enjoying the book, but taking it in small doses. I stated in my update that the girls are a lot more whiny, and the story (Little Women in particular) is much more preachy than I remember, from reading it as a teen. I just realized that it will only be counted as one book on Good Reads, since it was downloaded as a single volume. I'm going to see if I can find the three listed separately, so that my count will be correct. |

I'm still reading Demon Girl by Penelope Fletcher. It isn't as good as I imagined - in fact it's not well written, the motives and actions of the characters aren't clear and the story line isn't easy to follow either. I have about a seventh left to go, and don't have any interest. Well, I'll finish it anyway. |

Just finished Two Rivers by T.Greenwood I hope everyone picked it up while it was free. If it were a movie, I would catagorize it as a "chick flick." It was a great read. I've noticed most females here are into fantasy and science fiction so it may not appeal to some. |

Sitting around on the couch all day due to a bit of a cold, I finished and reviewed another book! It's written by Luke King (MR member!) and it's called "Koenig's World." It's geared towards a young adult audience, but I really enjoyed the read.

Finished A Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein. It was ok, but it didn't really grab me and feels very dated with regards to the attitudes towards women etc. Guess it has to viewed as a product of its time.

Back to the classics: The D'Artagnan Romances, Vol. 3 by Alexandre Dumas, formatted and uploaded here by HarryT. I really liked the first two, once I got used to the slightly creaky translation, and hope this one is more of the same.

I'm reading Avempartha, the second book in the Riyria revelations series. It's like reading a novelization of an episode of Hercules: the Legendary Journeys. (That's a compliment, by the way ) |

Just started on _The Well of Ascension_ (Mistborn book 2) by Sanderson. Book 1 is coming back to me, but it's been a while. Perhaps I shouldn't wait so long between books in a series. BOb |

Actually my books are not published by AmazonEncore, but by multiple publishers that are different in each country, which is why there are geo-restrictions. In the US, The Ark is published by Simon and Schuster, but in the UK (and any non-North American English-speaking country), it's called The Noah's Ark Quest published by Little, Brown. Rogue Wave should come out later this year as The Tsunami Countdown in the UK, and the US version of The Vault will be called The Midas Code in the UK. All four of my books are under contract in the UK and, other than the titles, will be identical to the US versions.

I'm done with Avempartha, and am reading the next book in the series: Nyphron Rising. I think I will whip through this series, it's really hitting the spot right now.
