Temps in the cold 40's F - but 20 mph winds make it feel much colder. Had a brief but gusty snow flurry shower this morning - very picturesque. Now just turning bitterly cold. Snow predictions now shoved back to sometime on Monday ... maybe ... now might be ice ... maybe ...
man - nobody seems to know anything about what's coming!

We had a few flurries overnight here as well. Last I heard, we'll be right on the freeze line Monday when the precipitation comes. We'll either get rain, or another blizzard.

OMG it is beautiful here 50F sunny no wind and a bit of unmelted snow in the shadows just for character. Just back from a walk to and around the part (3 miles) ... perfect weather!

of course the predicted high for tues is 10 with snow and probably gale force winds! eeek!

Now temp has dropped to 36F and overcast and miserable out there!

I'm laughing my rear off over here. The reason this has to do with the weather is, a friend of mine from my old hometown in Texas is currently driving through Illinois to pick up her son in Chicago. She's posting all sorts of Facebook updates about cold and snow, and I'm laughing at her, and posting comments about Texas hothouse flowers. I think she's about ready to take a slight detour and kill me. *grin*.
