Thanks AO! Since, I couldn't find the Pandigital Novel today, I picked this up instead (I like the black better anyway). I've already installed Kindle for Android. I'll play with it "as is" for about 24 hours, then it's hacking time!

I shall after I find some PDFs for testing! I couldn't wait 24 hours. I'm trying to root it now. It is heavy and slow (resistive touch) but I can't really complain based on the price. I about to overclock it to speed it up.
