Can you use Astro to copy items into your /System/Apps folder? That's what you need to do to get Live Wallpaper working, right?

Softkeys should appear in your app drawer, along with your other installed programs. I'm not sure what launcher you are running, or if you have rooted recently and have an app in the drawer called "NookColor Tools," but here are a couple methods.
If you use ADW.Launcher: - goto app drawer - tap and hold target app, and drop shortcut on home screen - tap and hold shortcut on home screen and then tap uninstall If you have Nook Color Tools in app drawer: - open app drawer -> Nook color tools -> All settings -> Manage applications -> Softkeys -> uninstall |

This NC is a bigger learning process than I expected, but it's such a great feeling to finally get it working like it should. |

I'll have to give that a try. If I can get the Live Wallpaper file into that folder should it work correctly?

Yeah, Android is new to me, too. The one thing I really like about it, is that there are really only (2) main screens, your homescreen(s), and the app drawer.

Android isn't that new to me since I started playing around and rooting my Evo, but this is an animal of a totally different color. I've never been this lost on the Evo. But it sure beats Windows mobile.

Yeah, me too. My NC feels so different than my smart phone. It sometimes feels like a whole new platform!

![]() http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5#post10165555 This link shows how to add the stock android live wallpapers like "water" (for some reason I really like that one). I can confirm that it works great and didn't mess up any of the Live Wallpapers I already have installed. |
