Kindle Gifting - Book Delivered??
All:

Is there a way for the purchaser to tell if the kindle ebook has been downloaded by the recipient? I do not want to ask the person(s) if they received it, I would hate to ruin the surprise but I also do not want to purchase books that will not be read.

I gifted a couple of books to a friend (Kindle on iPad user) and he said that there was a provision for sending a 'Thank You' note. He did fill one out but I haven't received anything yet.

I just checked... you can go to your orders and look at the status... It shows "claimed" once the person has "recieved" the book.
