Better a long day at work, than a long week until Christmas.

order 651* is on the truck and should be here soon - can't wait now. I hope everyone gets theirs before Christmas. Don't give up hope yet, mine was only collected by Fedex yesterday 6pm and is being delivered today - the turn around time (certainly within Europe) seems pretty good.

Well I got mine today, I went home for the lunch break to check it out because I was so impatient. It is nice, light and thin, but the leather cover was missing from the package (there was a note saying that they didn't have anymore and it will ship in January when new ones are available)

Hmmm...that is not a nice thing. I hope that in my FedEx box will be a cover otherwise it is a bit risky to carry it around.

For me the same, no cover until the end of January.

Then I'll probably not receive one either.

This seems ominous: no new FedEx shipping emails reported since Friday and reports that they are out of leather covers. I wonder if Bookeen is out of Gen3 readers too?

Recieved mine this morning, within the estimated delivery time. No cover though - this will apparently ship in January. I'm glad to have the Cybook, but I can't take it anywhere until there is a case really.
So far, very pleased, display is great and boot time is fine. Page refresh doesn't annoy me, which was my worry. It is SOOOO thin and light, I can't belive it.
So far, great!

Same problem here. The device looks fragile and I have nothing to protect it yet. I have to be really careful for a month or more.

Yeah, shipments seem to have slowed considerably since Friday. My order number is 71xx and I'm beginning to doubt that I'll see my Cybook before the year is out!

Still no email here, either, and the Bookeen shop was promising shipping between December 14-18 when I ordered (number in the high 74XXs). I've noticed that they've now completely removed the projected shipping date from the shop, which doesn't bode too well in my mind...

Right now, I'm just hoping that my Cybook makes it here before Christmas, case or no case. I'm sure that I can scrounge something up as a temporary measure if need be.

Heck, I work for a library; surely I can find something out of the various DVD-cases that will do the job... I think we've got some hard-sided double-DVD cases with removable disc holders... add a little thin foam from the hobby store, or maybe a chunk of plushy blanket, for padding... Hmm, that might work...

Mine shipped today 668x. It doesn't seem to have an estimated arrival date though. Anyone notice this?
