Thank you both.

I still feel with the persons still stranded, but I heard it's getting somewhat better today with Heathrow opening another runway. Just really sad for the once who actually won't be able to make it home for Christmas. One can only hope that something good comes out of it in form of improved readiness for similar situations.

If it's any consolation, the other night at work I was out at 2:00 in the morning on the piers doing preventive maintenance inspections on our equipment. No snow, but the wind was blowing and the temp was -3° C.

I'm bored.

In the week before Christmas the store's open extra nights (normally only on Thursday from 6 to 9). Because on Wednesday my father always goes to play billiards together with my uncle I volunteered to work tonight. So far I've had no customers. Played Prof. Layton for a bit. "Night at the Museum" just started but five minutes ago the tv seems to have died, no image only sounds.

Good thing is that tomorrow I get off 2 hours early, because I worked tonight, I can go to the supermarket to get food for the weekend since I'm looking after the cat and sick dog of friends of mine.

Only 18 minutes to go...and then a nice hot shower with my favorite shower gel!
