I was listening to them for about a year but then they were forced to close the access to the site for non-US based visitors due to legal permissions from rights owners of the presented materials... anyway, I miss Pandora since that every day... It's been like 4 years now...

have you checked to see if it is available again? I am mostly loving it. I guess I am still in the education phase with it. I have EXTREMELY eclectic tastes, and trying to get it to understand that just because I like Kris Kristofferson, doesn't mean that Johnny Cash gets a go ahead.

I prefer Slacker Radio Plus. It allows you to cache your favorite Slacker stations on the memory card of your smart phone to listen without a network connection. I use it with my iPhone and iPod Touch. Also works with Android and Palm OS phones. It will run you $4.99 a month or if you go with a 12 month plan $3.99 a month. You can try it free for seven days if you like.

for now I only have a Zune, I'm waiting on the Verizon Windows7 phone and the Microsoft Pad to be released this spring before I venture into that realm. for now, it's pretty neat except for the random Johnny Cash offerings, and a few other oddities that get thrown in

LOL It so happens that I'm getting the Johnny Cash Complete Sun Masters box set for Christmas! That makes sense, because I'm not interested in Kris Kristoferson!

I've been using Pandora for years, really love that service. It really does a good job in keying in on the type of stuff you enjoy. The up and down voting is really the most important part of the whole system. I have a station that is roughly 2 years old now, I can leave that thing on 24 hours a day and never hear a song that I dislike.

I'm a little bit of an addict when it comes to music though. Finally had to get a ZuneHD last year to try and curb my spending habits when it came to buying music. Love that Zune Pass.

I also use GrooveShark when I'm on the laptop or a friends computer and just want to listen to some quick music, since it lets you pick the exact songs you want to play.

I like the website TheSixtyOne, when I want to hear some indie bands I've never heard of before. The site has a beautiful user interface.

Last.fm is pretty cool too, though I don't really use it for the radio, rather just to track my listening habits when I play my music on iTunes and "scrobble" music from my iPhone / iPod. I also like how they compare your listening habits with other users and give you a little "your music compatibility with XXX is 'Super'", etc. I've met some cool people on there simply because we loved all the same music.

I listen to Pandora, Last.fm, AOL Radio, and others depending on my mood. I avoid listening to Pandora on a steady basis because I have no desire to pay for it if my hours run out.

I use Rhapsody mostly because they have a great catalog. I've found that none of those services can guess what I might like. I always enjoyed trying out music that takes me out of my comfort zone.
The only problem is that when I find something I like I often search out the CD and rip it myself if I need to put it on a player. MP3s offered by most online download stores are limited in what they can do.

I use Pandora sometimes on the roku, since it is supported on that. Using it for the holiday music lately. Used to use last.fm, but somehow it does not seem as good as I remembered it. Just started using slacker and finding I am enjoying that the most though not enough to switch over from the free version.

Like it a lot. Got one for my parents a couple of months ago also, and they want to know why I did not tell them about it earlier. Hopefully you will enjoy yours also.

Turned on the Pandora radio around 20 minutes ago. The 4 month old likes that Taylor Swift girl.

Whenever I pause it I make sure to say "Imma Let you finish."
