My ereader is not charging all of the sudden, any ideas. charge item comes on but no red light. n

How are you charging it? USB from your computer, USB cable via a wall wart, or AC adapter?

If it is your computer, run Reader Library then plug in the reader. If that doesn't work, try a different USB port.

If it is a wall wart, not all wall warts work. Ones for Apple devices do not work.

If it is an AC adapter, check that the AC adapter is functioning.

If you've done the USB and it's not working and you do not have an AC adapter, get a PSP AC adapter with the barrel plug and give that a go.

Good to have your company, Robert. I experienced your problem and others when I first got my Sony a couple of years ago. I started to use a mains charger and it's been as good as gold ever since. You can't rely on a USB charge and the battery meter on the device is notoriously over-optimistic. Otherwise, beautiful wee machines. Good luck and best wishes. Neil
