In honor of Jane Austen's birthday, I shall point out that in her day (late 18th, early 19th centuries) it was illegal to marry your late wife's sister (for men) or your late husband's brother (for women). That was considered incestuous.

Jane's brother Charles did that, incidentally--married his late wife's sister, who acted as his housekeeper/babysitter after said wife died in childbirth--but they had to go to France to do it.

Why are they using a book about incest in their advertising? Why not? Last time I looked they're still selling about 370 incest fantasy erotica titles. They only banned about 4 or 5 of them.

Amazon is the one making it an issue. Nobody wuld care what the book was in the advertisement if Amazon had not decided to start pulling eBooks about incest. If Amazon is going to pull such books, then why would they allow such a book to be used in the advertisement?

But if it's on screen, someone's going to want to look.
