Now hurry up and get dry, we are cycling down to vast cafe for lunch!

Whilst we are there we can look in 'Trade Secret'. Brand name clothing at cheap prices.

You can have another swim when we get back, and by then the wine will be cold again.

Somebody really dropped the ball on this weather forecast. We were not told to expect this, and it caught everybody by surprise when they headed home for work.

been a very unusual weather week for us in the Florida panhandle/lower Alabama.... it was 34ºF at 12 noon today, right now it is 56ºF. Warmer after dark than it was most of the day. Of course the last few nights have also been around 20ºF... just waiting for the snow that we get once every 15-20 years, it has been 18 years now.

Well the arctic hasn't slipped southwards as the newspapers would have us believe; this morning, nothing more than a dusting of snow, a 20mph wind and a temperature of Zero.

The Scottish Minister for the Weather was on the job overnight, pure coincidence

We've had light snow, followed by sleet, followed by freezing rain, which is supposed to change over to rain today. Temps hover at 31 F - making life interesting. I'm waiting a bit for roads to melt and idiots to finish wrecking their cars before driving into work.

Don't underestimate the dreaded black ice. It really took Atlanta by surprise yesterday which meant that several school buses slid off the roads. The temp here at my house has risen from 33 to 41 in the past 3 hours or so, but north of the city it's still hovering at freezing. Schools are opening two hours late today.
