Freezing rain has set in for the evening, right during rush hour. I hate freezing rain, because it makes tree limbs fall on power lines. It's supposed to warm above freezing sometime during the night, though, so hopefully we won't get too much ice buildup.

They are reporting roads getting slippery up in NE Ala. Here in central Ala, it is finally a few degrees above freezing. Betty, are you in north Ga?

Atlanta. North metro area is getting slippery, but I think the roads are okay right here. (Although my steps/bannister are icy.)

Well, Betty, if I ever get stuck in the Atlanta airport for an ice storm again, now I know who to call! (During the move to Illinois in Jan. of 2005 I got held up in the Atlanta airport for several hours due to an ice storm. It sucked.)
