HT, I've actually had trouble finding loose tea in my area! The best bets are discount stores like TJ Maxx or Tuesday Morning. (Whispers) I think it's perfectly fine to drink tea from teabags for those of us with, shall we say, less sophisticated palates. Now if you fall in the sophisticated palate group all bets are off!

![]() Could've tripped out easy a-but I've a-changed my ways It'll take time I know it but in a while You're gonna be mine I know it, we'll do it in style 'Cause I made my mind up you're going to be mine ![]() Another beautiful day in the Land of the Rising Sun! (It actually did rise today) and another cup of liquid amber. In honor of Tuesday, a cup of Taylors of Harrogate's English Breakfast tea to go along with my rice and miso soup. (To tell the truth, I'd really like a good croissant!) Something for you store-bought tea-bag users to consider; it's easier for machines to put a finer, dryer grind of leaf into teabags. ![]() That translates to a lot less flavor. Give yourselves a treat and buy your favorite teas (even those 'pretend teas' flavored with jelly beans or spinach) and a pack of empty teabags (you can find them in Asian import stores and often even in your local megamarkets if you look carefully. Dollar Stores often sell them too) and package up your own. It only takes me about 15 minutes to make enough teabags to get me though a week or two, and the flavor difference is worth it. Even with really excellent teas, the stuff that comes pre-packaged in tea bags just can't compare with the loose leaf tea. Trust me... you'll appreciate the difference. ![]() Stitchawl |
