And there is no way to tell whether you personally like a book or not without actually reading it. There have been plenty of books which I've read which have had rave reviews and I go back after reading the book and wonder what the other readers saw that I didn't! Unfortunately I have to read a book all the way through, no matter how bad I find it. Sometimes I end up getting a pleasant surprise if the book really picks up and I love it when that happens. But normally it's just not enjoyable all the way through. Samples are a good idea when you actually get a decent sample that is. I've read plenty where I've thought "Thank God I didn't buy that!" Better luck with the next read | |

It's generally not a problem if you put your cats on a home cooked diet for a week or so. The real danger is if the cat decides it ONLY will now eat people food [that's why my vet strongly recommended not giving baby food to our senior cat] - then you have to add supplements to the food.

Very similar to some emails I inadvertently sent while trying to use a laptop in my lap - with a cat in my lap - who could use the touch pad better than I could.
