Four liters, choose a temperature, push a button and out comes the water. A pot lasts me all day. I wish I had one that filled automatically too.

Thank you kindly. It is so. In fact you must have very sharp eyes (in a generalized sense). Not only it is the pace that we have here in Milano. (Our Prof can confirm it as she was here for some months. When we visit an other town, it looks like the people are walking under water. Even in NY). But it looks like I am living my day according to myself, than also I have to live an other day according to others. Not so much that of my wife (she knows how it works being Milanese like me and in the same profession, and having similar problems of tight schedules), but it is little daughter that starts to want us to live our day according to her blondie's temperament. Yes, it shows already, that early: she is just 3 and half.

The end of the year is always hectic. The wrapping up of work projects, the preparation of the festivities, the town that offers you special attractions.

To day should be easier, but ... I will start to follow your advice by closing this post with a nice thank you, and a big smile.

I love my hot water dispenser. It holds four liters of water and allows me to set the temperature based on what I need for my tea.

A Milano. It took me a while to get used to the pace, it is slower then the US but faster then most other European cities.

here is another good source for all things Tea I've been shopping the republic of tea for a long time. when I traveled for work all of the time the two constants in my luggage were good coffee and a supply of tea. most hotels are providing "Stash" teas which taste like boiled flavoured sawdust to me

See I am not a huge fan of Republic of Tea. they were my tea of choice for ages, I could get them at World Market, but when I started using Teavana I found the Republic of Tea teas to be overly infused.

Wow, they have beautiful tea things there. I'm a sucker for beautiful tools.

ProfCrash, I'm sure this is a stupid question, but how can a tea be overly infused until you actually brew the tea? What does the word "infused" mean other than the obvious one?

I guess I don't have that problem, and the few times it has seemed a little strong, I adjust my brewing time

they do have wonderful things! this site has been my go to place for difficult gift giving decisions for many years

Infused with flavor. So the fruit flavor in most teas comes from fruit bits but also an infusion process so that the flavor some how gets into the tea leaves itself. I have no clue how any of this happens but I believe it is similar to flavoring coffee.

Technically we are steeping the tea but the baskets are called infuser baskets and I have no idea why.

Second cup of Kokeicha, Japanese green tea.

Frankly speaking I don't see much difference from Large leaf green Chinese tea. Maybe it is more like Sencha Uji though. Sweeter

Like it.
