This is the last page of the thread (Zeam Launcher 2.7.1). Just work your way back and hopefully someone posted a link to it.

I haven't searched for it myself.

Now that location services is working we can install Applanet. It's an app store that will allow you to install directly on the NC. You'll find Zeam here.

http://www.applanet.net/applanet/

In order to download the Applanet .apk you need to join the forum and verify your email address. Then you'll be able to download and install the app store on the NC.

I've installed Zeam. Will check it out later.

Note that the use and distribution of warez software is illegal. In contrast, shareware and freeware may be freely copied and distributed.

Recommendation is to download apps that are shareware and freeware.

Applanet (Alternative App Market)

You won't have to hunt and peck for .apk files on Google as much.

As long as I am in Atlanta, too. I travel just about every week. But I do have a nice wine cellar so you are always welcome.

Got a response from Overdrive support:

Quote:
Thank you for your interest in OverDrive Media. If you continue to have trouble authorizing the Adobe ID on your Android device, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the OverDrive app. Once you have reinstalled OverDrive, please try activating the device again. If you continue to have trouble, please provide the following information.

- Android device
- Version of Android OS
- Mobile service provider (Verizon, Sprint, etc.)
Of course I did this and it didn't work. I told them I have a Cruz Tablet (since it's listed as a supported Android device). Also sent the error log.

We'll see.

Have you had any success using applanet? I installed the apk but when I try to download another app it says it can't install.

I also tried one from slideme and that didn't work either.

Yes, I've downloaded three apps from Applanet today. Just tried Slideme again (as it didn't work before the location services thing was fixed). Downloaded and installed an app with no problem.

These should work if you did the Location Services thing. Perhaps reboot as well?

hmm.. i've had the location service installed since i loaded up zeam (found via google eventually). I use it with the weather channel app you pointed in another post. i've also rebooted and no difference. wonder why it's not working. can't seem to find any info on the error on applanet forums or google.

Ok, I re-read your first post. Yes, some apps can't be installed. It's not uncommon for that to happen. I tried to install a certain game and it wouldn't install.

I thought you were saying Applanet wouldn't install. The same with Slideme. Sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase.

InstaFetch Pro (Synchronizes with Instapaper Account)

Instapaper is a simple tool to save web pages for reading later.

http://www.instapaper.com/

Quote:
How it works

Instapaper gives you a Read Later bookmark.

1. When you find something you want to read, but you don't have time, click Read Later.
2. Come back when you have time, or read your articles on the go.
Use InstaFetch to read your articles on the NOOKcolor.

http://www.freewarelovers.com/androi...instafetch-pro

Quote:
InstaFetch lets you save complete web pages to your mobile device for offline reading.

It integrates with Instapaper.com — service to use, if you don't have time to read an article but want to read it later.
With this app you can:

* save pages to Instapaper directly from your Android-powered device,
* synchronize with your Instapaper account and download full contents of web pages that you want to read later,
* have the best possible reading experience on your Android-powered device thanks to NReadability's awesome mobile transcoding engine.

PRO features:
- Instapaper folders,
- starring capabilities,
- full-screen reading,
- night mode,
- Wi-Fi only mode,
- priority support.
Edit: In the app settings for InstaFetch, be sure to uncheck the option for "Full-screen Reading". This will allow the menu to be seen at all times.

Also, anytime you're reading something that has "Share" in the menu, you'll be able to select InstaFetch. This gives you the ability to read it later. You can skim sources for interesting content and just read later at your leisure.
