Thanks for the wishes; I'll tell her these are coming from far. She'll love that. And as for ironing; well..........I'm a sucker for old ladies.

Ironed her sheets, underwear, towels, handkerchiefs and pyama's. She always did it herself till now. She still has some linnen from her trousseau, which she started at the age of 10; that was in 1928.

And we bought her an iPad last month. Never had a computer, but she loves Google Earth, Solitaire and the fishes in the pond.

Getting a mixture of rain & sleet this afternoon. Spent the morning driving madly to get all the errands run before this new weather front closes in. Even remembered to get a case of Spot's favorite Fancy Feast flavor - in case we're iced in for a while.

I hope it stays up there with you. It's supposed to rain tonight and possibly turn over to "snow showers" tomorrow. I don't mind snow, but I hate being iced in!
