Damnit! Had this "tickle" in my throat yesterday and today it is worse and a bit stuffy and it feels like it's moving into my lungs as I'm developing a cough.....

Yuck!

I'm out of orange juice, so I think a trip to the store is in order before it gets worse...and some chicken noodle soup too pooh~!

Honey works great with ticklish throats, kennyc but not everyone likes it. I normally make a hot lemon and honey drink when I feel a cold coming on.

Hope you manage to stop it turning into anything nasty.

Not orange as such, but a nip (or three) of Cointreau before bed will do wonders.

If you are really crook, have a Berocca Aspirin. (2 Aspro clear and 1 Berocca dissoved in a glass of water) Da bomb!

The drama started before I ever made it into the store. I pulled up and I see two assistant managers getting carts. So I reverse direction, and grab the carts in the nearest corral to me and start pushing them in, too. (Because asst. managers getting carts means two things: 1. We're insanely busy inside and 2. There is no one else to send to get carts). Pam, our newest asst. manager catches up to me to say thanks, and tells me that the Customer Service Associate on duty was SCREAMING through the intercom system for stockers to get carts, so she (Pam) went and told her to stop it, that SHE would get carts. Until today, I would have said it was impossible to tick Pam off quite that badly...

It went downhill from there, as I had to put up with the bad attitude of the CSA that Pam told off until 9 p.m. when she finally left.

Can I PLEASE hibernate somewhere until spring thaw? Which around here is May 15th...

Come over here and have a double summer. You can come for treadlie rides, go to the beach, and swim in the pool. And then after summer you can go home and have summer all over again.

Honey, if I could live without Chris for more than 12 hours at a stretch, and if I had the money for the plane ticket, I'd be right there. Thanks for the offer though, it sounds absolutely heavenly. (((hugs)))

I was just chatting to the bloke next door who is a limo driver as he was washing his car. About the big storm that was coming. And the shiny clean limo that was chamoised off nicely is now wet again! Here's hoping not too much industrial fallout in the rain to filth it up again. poor bugga!
