special thanks for the link, since Im finally literally sick of explaining to people why i do not like parties. It simply drives me mad.
when you say you don't like techno, hip-hop, opera, and sports in general. that easily is understood. put the word party in that selection too and you end up with a dry tongue from explaining it (in vain). all i need to do now is to shove a link down their throats.

In a case I wouldn't mind to be gentle I wouldn't waste time trying to explain, but just say em to get lost.

Should you have meant something different - I'm always gentle in this cases unless a different behaciour is specifically requested

Good! I just thought "shove down their throat" implied a lack of gentleness. But that may just be a language issue, and perhaps you didn't mean you would give them the link with harshness.

maybe they finally manage to swallow the truth it there is a name of a psych journal on it
stuffing them with it effectively stops repeating "that's because you never have been at a really good party yet."

id most likely say "read that first before you keep on buzzwording"
