what reader is this?

in the picture:

http://gizmodo.com/5708528/what-you-...-e+book-reader

The article is "the usual." (why do these articles never mention library books and the fact that Kindle can't read them??)

Whoever can id the reader in the picture gets a prize (?).

Hmmm... I reckon they're Samsung eReaders.

See http://www.the-ebook-reader.com/samsung-ereaders.html

(Edit to add: Have a look at the first 30 seconds of the video.)

The brand name on that device is just out-of-focus!

My take on the library mention was that the writer implied that only Sonys can read library books, shortchanging nook (which can also). Technically, Kindles can read mobi Overdrive books, with a PID number. The article did seem to have been "underwritten" ... shall we say ... by the Amazon PR Department.

It's Samsung. You can click on the picture and it gets blown up. Then you can see Samsung pretty easily.

I love cats, and that's a brilliant video. My cat-loving family will enjoy watching that one too!

Even the demo video put me off this device. Chunky, chunky, chunky and the whole stylus thing - argh!

If it's going to be that chunky it at least needs to be the entourage edge.

Regards

To be fair, I can understand if SeaBookGuy's getting that vibe. From my long-time lurking on Gizmodo, they do seem to love their Kindles and their Apple products. I don't mind too much however, because they also feature interesting gadgets, and then I like to geek out over them, however silly they seem.

I did a search on images.google.com and typed in ebook readers and went line by line and figured it out that that they are Samsung ebook readers. I think that most electronics makers make ebook readers.
