But the coolest feature is if you are reading a book, and come across a word you don't know, just double-tap it with the stylus, and it launches the built-in dictionary and gives you the definition of the word.
Thanks for the info!

I'll relate the experience of reading my print book during takeoff, running across two words I did not know, and muttering to the pilots, "Hurry up, already!" so I could get out my device (at 10,000 feet) and look
them up!

I think most of the major e-readers have built in dictionaries. The difference is the ease of use.

Sony's is the easiest because you can do the double tap. The Kindle uses the directional pad to move to the line and word that you want to define. I am not sure how it works on the Nook Classic but people have complained that it is not easy. I would guess that the Nook Color uses a double tap similar to the SOny. I have no clue how it works on the Kobo.

The dictionary currently only works on the Kobo WiFi, and only to books from Kobo in native format. There is a software upgrade for the original Kobo, in beta testing right now, that includes the dictionary. No confirmation on whether the dictionary support will be extended to ePubs on either platform.
