EBreader, how's Orizon's battery life compared to Gen3's one?

Does Bookeen have a contact number? I've been trying to reach them via their website for days.

That a question of preferances I guess. Personaly, flash off, it left some residue that I find worse than the flash itself.

Thanks for the reply. Is the contact number still on their website, I can't find it. I've used the contact form but didn't hear back from them. Does the residue make it unreadable? Could you perhaps take a picture showing a typical example? Personally I find the flash on all the other e-ink readers a pain so the option of turning it off is very appealing to me—assuming the drawback isn't too bad.

Could someone who bought the Orizon ask Bookeen for the sources of the (L)GPLed components of the firmware.

Bookeen doesn't offer the Orizon firmware for download at the moment so only the buyers of the Orizon are in a position to "demand" the sources as they received the software as part of the Orizon and have to be able to access the sources as part of the GPL terms.

I don't have the orizon. And the opus screen might not be the same.

I bought Opus 2 weeks ago after frying my brain for 3 weeks on "which one should I buy". Choice was limited as nook, Kindle and Sony don't support my language. (Otherwise it would have been Sony 650)

Orizon I heard has sipix screen which I saw on internet pictures as being much darker than the regular eink. I went then for Opus with Vizplex (or how you spell it) which I find dark-ish anyway. It was a 50 euro difference between the two but I once was an early adopter and as my colleague said "thank you very many"

I find the flash on opus non disturbing (Bebook neo would have me with tears in my eyes after 5 min) Residue in opus when flash is off is a little bit messy after a while.
