You really have to watch out for cars on a bike, because way too many of their drivers certainly aren't looking out for you. Driving past bars is the worst. I've had more than one driver stare in my direction before pulling out right in front of me with that "Hmmm... nothing coming this way!" look in their eyes.

Why must comcrap always have outages on sunday nights when school assignments are due???? I just had to submit assignments (and post this) via cellphone tether. Typingon this is a pain in the arse!!!!! They broke it good this time, too...

Okay, so strike that... Comcast is still out, but apparently it's a DNS outage, and Chris the genius changed the DNS settings and now I'm back on... AFTER I submitted assignments the hard way, LOL....

Riiiiight....LOL. I did send the prof. an email explaining the outage and sent the link I posted above as proof. Just in case something went wonky with the connection and the file I submitted is corrupted or something.

bluddy rain! We just turned on our hot water booster (60cents per hour). It could just let the sun out for an hour each day and then hot water would be fine. Poor bar*ds in the Riverina copping a soaking too.

I'd like to rant about JCB drivers! Especially about the one that rescued the snowplough outside my house a couple of days ago, who went on to demolish my hand painted (by me) mailbox! Ten hours that darn thing took me to paint. :-(

I'm not sure if I should say poor thing or not.

But anytime you have to do what you are suppose to be doing and can't cruise MR is worth an and a "you poor thing."

Is he such a goody-two-shoes that he's never naughty? I mean 'ever?'
Why can some hermit who spends 364 days a year living waaaay off in the boonies making toys somehow decide if I've been naughty or nice, and based ONLY on HIS decisions, can make or break my entire holiday!

I don't think that's really very fair. Do you?
What ever happened to 'due process?' Why isn't there some sort of appeals panel or something to handle the mistakes? I'm sure he must make a mistake every once in a while, right? I mean, who here hasn't gotten the absolutely WRONG present once or twice? See?

He's not infallible, people. We need to get together and right this wrong before he's allowed to do it to us yet again. Time is running out. There are only 19 more days until he runs his game on us once more. I say; "TAKE A STAND FOR FAIR PRACTICE!"

Especially someone as dodgy sounding as this one - come on, really... he sees me when I'm sleeping - what the frak is up with that. What sort of psycho's do they have running around up there? So this guy is apparently peeping on half the world or so and then deciding if he wants to break into their house and give them something ... whooaaa, wait a minute there skippy, I'm not sure I want to play this game. I would like to get a look at his surveillance system though and maybe some archive footage

Tech talk to add greater reliability to your internet connection.

There are a couple of ways to fix that. Check out Google DNS.

Alternately you can find out your DNS Server by using the command prompt and typing in ipconfig /all. That should list your DNS Server address. Next manually enter one address from your service provider & one from either Google or one from someone that you know with a different Service provider (or one from your service provider but a different area of the country).

Check out Google DNS for directions.

Personally, I just use the Google addresses. But if they should fail I know to change back to Comcast.

Yeah, just as soon as Chris knew it was a DNS problem he changed the DNS servers on both our machines and we were back in business. Unfortunately, we didn't know that little piece of information until I had already submitted my school assignments the "hard way" using my phone.
