I agree with that- I am so over with her not picking. Really? She's that amazing that she's worth two really hot and amazing guys just waiting on her?

I like them enough to want to continue the series, but I'm not going to buy the complete series at once. I like that the humour and that the stories aren't uncomplicated, it's the busiest time of the year now so I don't feel like reading complicated things at the moment in the short moments I have time to read.

LOL, this made me think of the Anita Blake series. I think I've read the first five or so books, all the sex started to get in the way of the story IMHO.

It's advertising!
I'm one of those weird people that'll buy it if it's possible. As I said I've got a huge TBR list at the moment so I'm not allowed to buy any ebooks at the moment, so hopefully by the time I've read those I can buy it legally.

Another option is asking the pbook for Christmas (which is available for me); my mother is panicking that she doesn't know what to buy for me since because I've switched to ebooks.

I'm now reading Radix by Attanasio. Been meaning to read it for a while.

I'm depressed by how little his works are available in Australia in eBook and in print form. Wyvern was one of my favourite books of all time.

I just read our very own Tom Lichtenberg's (pigeonweather) "Freak City." Overall, I enjoyed it- a quirky, quick read.

I jst finished 33 A.D. by David McAfee. I rather enjoyed it, but the ending seemed rather abrupt and unsatisfying. Then the was the final bit of advice offered by Jesus to Tarus. Not only did it seem out-of-character, but it seemed to conflict with his appeal to Theron and the earlier experience of Ephraim.

Sounds neat, I'll try to check that one out.

I'm reading the last book (third) in the "Mistborn" series by Brandon Sanderson. (Misborn: The Hero of Ages) I can't wait to see how he concludes the story.

I just finished The Confession, by John Grisham. It was OK but I think that will be the last of his novels I read. I really had to force myself to finish the book which is never a good thing.

Next up is Lion of Senet by Jennifer Fallon.

Get it quickly, because it was one of the freebies in Nov.

MISTBORN!!! I loved it! But forgot that it was going to be a series. Those are a couple of books I need to get.

This looks interesting:

The power of words in politics is well known, and Lend Me Your Ears, the fourth edition of the Oxford Dictionary of Political Quotations, brings together both words of wisdom and things that might have been better left unsaid. This unique reference not only charts the most influential political events of recent times through the things people said about them - including an international financial crisis and a watershed in American presidential politics - but also digs deeper than ever into the rich heritage of political history from around the world.

I was wondering about that myself. Apparently this has been around and is a revised release....so why not update the cover as well.

There are Oxford Dictionaries for lots of different things it seems. I bought the Oxford Dictionary of World History in mobi format a long time ago, but unfortunately it is not structured like a dictionary so I can't access the entries on my Opus, I'd need a device with a type and search function for that.
