Hi,

if you mean verion without "preview" or "beta" in versino string, it will take a while.

If you mean version that runs stable, the "preview" version is solid, has only minor glitches.

fixing dictionary was a nightmare, because I could do it only on PRS-300, which is "hardcore caching" stuff that gets loaded from the sandbox. So after doing any change, I had to restart the reader.

Until the end of this year I won't have much time for PRS+, later new dictionary is planned, so I'm not sure whether I'll include this change.

Regarding passing vars to the sandbox code, unfortunately this way doesn't work:
a.sandbox.b.sandbox.c =
only first level is accessible. So if a is an existing object, b will be accessible, but c will not.

I got no feedback yet, so it's still untested.

And I have use PRS+ with English locale on previously russified PRS-300 (boroda)
Present moment I'm back to "boroda"

No, startup fine, loading books fine, overall a great piece of work and makes accessing my 25K of books so easy... no crashes... yet another superb piece of work from Kartu... yes, this is set to English locale but I'm English

Sorry you're having problems though, they'll be fixed as soon as Kartu has time... he does have to have a life as well

Startup might be a bit slower (as PRS+ does much more than other firmwares), loading books highly unlikely.
And timing doesn't depend on locale.

Code is already written with performance in mind, no improvements are planned in this regard.

Anyway, use whatever works best for you.

Also made this last post in original thread (had meant to do it as a private message first, in addition to posting it here - messed up somehow).

Not sure what you mean by locale or how to set it. I chose English during installation, if that is what you mean. The titles are all in English. My command of Russian is so little, from two years of it in high-school, more than 25 years ago, that I would never attempt to read anything significant in it

Thanks again for all your hard work - it is people like you (the REAL hackers as opposed to 'crackers') that make the computer community what it is.

Could you make a screenshot of the wrongly sorted books please? (you could use built in Screenshot feature, just bind it to some key).

Sorting of latin chars (accented is another story) should be the same in all firmwares.
