I lived for a long time in Tahiti, French Polynesia, during my childhood and teen years and i always remember of the beautiful songs i used to hear in the Heiva, or Hawa'iki Nui, or at any summer night in Papeete. Some of the songs were incredibly beautiful. I do miss terribly that beautiful land.

This is a farewell song by Ester Tefana, one of the big names of Tahitian traditional music. It sure brings back great memories

BTW, this was a massive hit in Mexico like 10 years ago. The song is famous for its double entendres, which at that time some people considered too explicit for radio. However, as a signal of the times, the song was programmed normally.

Just a little side note, you need to put the ~ over the a, since in portuguese you write Falcão. If you don't it looks, and sounds, a little odd

Talking about football (soccer for north americans), i like this nice piece of greek music that was included in the film "Never on Sunday".
In this song, the actress Melina Mercouri, which interprets the role of a prostitute in the Athens sea port of Piraeus, sings to her boys of Olympiakos Piraeus (a very popular greek football club, specially in the working class, in opposition to Panathinaikos which is a more middle and upper class club).
You can read the poem in the subtitles, i think it is beautiful. ... football, love and life...
