just got the 'they've left the factory' message ... they'll start shipping monday .. so a sneaky way of saying 'yup, we're running late'! ..

at least it should be here by the end of the week (maybe?!)

I know the Bookeen website said there'd be a shipment window - 5-12th Dec iirc - but my order specifically says "Shipping date: 05/12/2007".

I haven't heard anything from FedEx yet; are Bookeen now saying nothing's going to get shipped till next Monday?

hi sparrow .. this is the reply i had to my query-

Brand new production batches have left the factory and are on their way to
our shipping department. Shipments will start next Monday.

You will receive a tracking number confirmation by email when your package
is handled by FedEx.

I think mine took two days to reach me after it shipped, so if it does ship on Monday it should arrive Wed or Thu at the latest.

When my order said "Shipping date: 05/12/2007", I thought they'd ship it on the 5th.

I've booked a week's leave starting Monday, assuming I'd have it by then and could curl up for several days reading everything I could get my hands on - but now it looks like I'll have to spend most of it doing my Xmas shopping instead

you could do your christmas shopping from your computer where you can check Fed-ex status constantly too!! ..

i think this year i'll have managed to do about 95% of christmas shopping online!!! .. it's been wonderful!! (and cheaper!!!) ..

I am curious as to where the shop application shows the expected delivery date. It was still showing "5th-13th December" dispatch dates when I ordered at the end of November, but on looking at the details of my order, there's no expected dispatch date listed?

Hoping Loopy enjoys the reader, in the meantime I'll return to waiting (somewhat impatiently) for my own

I think people are referring to the date you see when you log in and check your order status. Although, now that I check again I don't see any delivery date mentioned... That's one way of providing feedback to your customers, I guess (:
