I love farmers markets!!! I am a member of some "eating local and sustainable" groups and am really excited about the work they are doing!

I also adore both wind chimes AND Doctor Who... a little of both please!

I'm pretty sure it's a lychee, a fruit. My brother-out-law, who has a stall at the markets, actually sells a really nice lychee balsamic vinegar he makes himself.

I'm like that with the Loved One's Buddha Bar CDs. Their "relaxing" and "meditative" tones make me want to strangle someone.

I prefer to get my calm on naturally.

I miss our farmers market.

We have a municipal one but the best was an actual farm just a few km away. What they didn't grow themselves they would try to bring in from their neighbours. The fresh veg and fruit, herbs and some of my favourite chinese greens I'll have to wait until next spring. The lettuces I see in the supermarkets right now are all imported and look pretty pathetic. We have a lot of greenhouses around here, so hothouse tomatoes, bell peppers and English cucumbers are usually available, but still not as good as farm grown.

They look like lychee to me too. Logan's have a brownish shell. Then there is the hairy Rambutan variety. We see a lot of them in Vancouver, but I believe they are imported form China.

I don't mind wind chimes as long as there isn't any wind.

I love wind chimes. What was that really hot movie -- Body Heat? Every time you heard the wind chimes in that movie it was NOT telling you to "bloody well calm down."

I love some wind chimes (like mine) but hate many others (pretty much everyone else's). My daughter likes a set that is too high in pitch and would bug the crap out of me if she lived next door. But that's between her and her neighbors. Mine is the right pitch for me. And has doughnuts hanging on each to catch the wind. (no, not really)

Wind chimes are a from of noise pollution to me. Nothing soothing about them.

If I gave them as a gift, I'd just make my own.

I love wind chimes but my least favorite are the tiny tinkly sounding ones...

I have several sets of them hanging on my patio.

I love the tiny tinkly ones all the way to the great bass ones. I have them hanging in random places all over the farm, except where the horses can get to them, they pull them down. I don't like the clackity bamboo ones though

I'm watching Strider and Arwen wrestle box. after a long break Strider has rediscovered "fetch" Arwen doesn't quite get it but thinks racing around after whatever the current fetch item is a blast. she then will occasionally steal it and much to her delight a very agitated Strider will chase about after her.
