Hello and Thanks
Hi. I am a long time lurker and decided to join the forum today.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone has posted info about the various types of devices, using Calibre, etc.  I've been reading ebooks since 2004, but have just used my PC or laptop. I have wanted an ereader for a while, but have been waiting for that elusive "perfect" device which would also read LIT format, since that's what most of books are. Sadly, I don't think that device will ever actually come, so I've decided to make the jump with the Sony 650. |

Good to have your company, LA. Yup, everything available so far could be fairly called a 'prototype'. Personally, I think you've opted for the best of the bunch. Lovely hardware -- but rotten library software (download Calibre and you will never need it). Hope you have as happy an experience as I have with my Sony over the past couple of years. Best wishes.
