Have not seen English Breakfast with Keemun tea. All different types I had were with Assam. Never tried Irish Breakfast.

Been busy all day.
What did I have?
Started with 1. Yorkshire Gold as usual.
Then....some proper leaf tea.
2. Roasted mate
3. Mate with coconut milk
4. 3 resteeped
5. Rooibos raspberry& vanilla
6. Rooibos raspberry& vanilla, like right now.

Heading out to a potluck lunch at my old workplace. I think I'll take a to-go cup of rooibos, because the last time my only drink choices were diet coke (no!) or mountain dew. I'm not a big fan of carbonated drinks these days, although I drank plenty of them when I was younger!

I drink plain seltzer and add either lime, lemon, orange or cherry juice.

To me this is a very useful piece of information. (k on its way).
Until I know my way around, i prefer to stick to un-blended flavors. I compared Keemun and Ceylon and my preference goes to Keemun. I am aware that this might be limited to the particular teas that I have. I intend to challenge this preference shortly.

For the moment I am drinking Keemun with my breakfast and being very happy with it. Having acquired an electric heater makes the routine quite easy. I keep the interest in Ceylon alive drinking it during the day and may be battling it with Oolong. Assam I am keeping it to make a masala chai that I am studying since a while. But I do not give it up entirely. I might be tempted by a substantial snow in breakfast and in that case i think I would indulge in a brew with milk and sugar with pancakes or french toasts, that special old fashioned bacon that my butcher keeps producing and that can of maple syrup that I keep for a special occasion.

I realize that I should also consider Darjeling and Orange Pekoe (that I drunk in Canada BTW and that I do not know what it is). Eventually I will make a choice, a commitment of sort. Then, with time, with the kind advice that I find on this thread, I might move to a blend. Que sera, sera.
