that's some yummy stuff! some of the microbreweries here are also making root beers, I've had some interesting blends, none of which have been bad and many that have played a lot with herbs and spices. I drink almost no soda pop so finding a good root beer is always good. it makes me sad whenever I hear about parts of Americana taking over parts of Europe, I guess the A&W burger joints haven't made it yet

No - no A&W burger joints here that I'm aware of. That is where I got the taste for root beer though (when visiting my brother in Vancouver).

My cousins did that when they studied in Europe for a year. They had their mom send cases of peanut butter to them. I was also the gifts that they left to their friends when they came back home. They could not believe how excited their friends were to be gifted that.

Big glass of water, than off to bed. It was a heavy day, gray, cold, poor on joys but with an endless sequence of minor emergencies. Luckily they were all so good to get solved by themselves. I am going to bed 2 hours earlier than usual and hope for the best.

I currently work in Germany a few days every fortnight and have to regularly take Marmite and Yorkshire Gold tea bags for colleagues over there (as well as an IPhone4 - but that was for financial rather than availibility reasons).

United Kingdom
There were a few A&W outlets in the United Kingdom, all of which shared retail space with KFC such as Ashton-under-Lyne, Derby, Glasgow, and Clayton. An A&W shared space with a Long John Silvers outlet in Walsall opened in 2004. These outlets have all now closed.
