I can't get enough of reading pdfs and ebooks on my reader my mother and sisters are the complete opposite just monday i was with one sister at strand books in NYC shopping with her.

Have you ever loaned them your ereader? Or will they not even try it? It seems like the easiest way to get someone hooked is actually let them use one for a while. Not that we have to get other people hooked...
